Stunning views and lekker vibes 🌄
Views from the room were absolutely lekker, perfect to chill with a cuppa. The buffet meals were massive and really tasty, especially the gala dinner – loved the 80s theme! The staff were super friendly, really made us feel at home, like buh-lah!
Reception could've been a bit more welcoming, didn't quite have that warm vibe.

It was just an appropriate option for a lightning trip in Champagne Valley with value for money. The lovely tea served mid-morning really stood out and was a nice touch. Make sure to ask for more soap to avoid running out while showering.

Stunning views in the Drakensberg! 🌄
Starts with a massive wow for the views! Chilling on the patio with our breakfast while soaking in the mountain vibes was just bliss. The walks through the forest were bushveld beauties, and we felt super safe. The staff were always ready to help out, so lekker!
Only downside was no air con in the room, so it got a bit toasty.

The breathtaking mountain views from my room were simply unforgettable. The breakfast spread offered a delightful variety, especially the fresh eggs cooked to order. Reception staff greeted me with warmth, and having chocolate on my pillow was such a nice touch. the room heater made it quite stuffy, and a switch to electric blankets would be better. there was a strange smell in the bathroom, perhaps due to the septic system. Despite these issues, the room was comfortable and well-kept.

Couple who loves nature
The room was spacious, and the balcony view of the mountains made it all worth it. Each meal at the buffet was heavenly , especially the variety of desserts, I mean, just top-notch quality!
It wasn't exactly inexpensive , but for the experience provided, it was acceptable.

The outdoor swimming pool was a standout feature, providing a decent size for swimming laps. The stunning views of the mountains made lounging on the patio exceptionally enjoyable, especially while sipping tea during mid-morning.
We encountered some significant noise issues, especially in room 85 where sounds from unit 86 were disturbingly audible, including loud TV and unexpected activity – not exactly ideal for a relaxing couple's getaway. the self-catering unit lacked essential kitchenware like a casserole dish, and the lounge sofa was quite uncomfortable, appearing as if it could use a thorough refresh. I was also taken aback by the lack of warning regarding horseback riding around the units, which could pose a safety issue when kids are playing outside. While the food was generally good, we felt the variety could have been broader, particularly with more protein options like fish or a proper chicken fillet.

The outdoor swimming pool here is a decent size for laps, making it a great spot to work off those hearty meals. Plus, watching the horses gallop by in the morning is quite a unique experience, even if it can catch you off guard at first.
The self-catering unit we stayed in was missing basic kitchen equipment, like a casserole dish or decent microwave options, which made cooking a challenge. The sofa in the lounge felt ancient and was really uncomfortable for lounging around. I noticed a lack of attention to cleanliness. for example, there were broken tiles on the patio that could pose a safety risk. The rooms also had chipped basins and too few plug points, making it inconvenient for charging devices.
